| SUPERBOWL XL Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) vs Seattle Seahawks (+3.5) Let's here everyones thoughts on the big game and who will win or cover and why! I personally think right now that Pittsburgh is the stronger team and will win rather easily. What's your thoughts?? Last edited by Tommy : 01-23-06 at 02:05 PM. |

| i have no clue here, i dont think pitt will win easily, i can see them winning but its gonna be tough to stop that seattle run game, and seattles defense looked amazing against carolina, if they can shut down steve smith they can def shut down hines ward so it should be interesting...

| Sir I believe you are the one typing in the expletives. If there is one thing thing that everyone should know, in any sport, on any given day, anything can happen. Just because Pitt has been rolling in the AFC, does not give them the Lombardy trophy just yet. This game is not a shoe in for either team. I do think that Seattle matches up well with Pitt, but the running game favors Pitt even though they haven't rushed with much success as of late, avg 2.6 ypc, in the last 2 games. JRON, I do not have a mouth as you call it, but an opinion. I was just pointing out that you said USC should roll by double digits and that they would stick a fork in our mascot. Well i was not a bit suprised by your comment, because the whole world had already made USC the Champs before the game started, even ESPN did. If you were to check the schedule for the day after the Rose Bowl, ESPNU already had it on their schedule to replay the past 34 games that USC had won before the Rose Bowl had ever started! They had already picked them to win. Well guess what?? After the game, ESPNU's schedule quickly changed to Texas' games and then the whole world started questioning Reggie Bush. Now should Vince be #1? Should Houston take Vince in his home town, instead of Bush. My point is just because it looks like it should happen doesn't mean it will. I do not guarantee anything for any game, but Seattle does stand a very good chance to win this game. Last edited by Wigington : 01-28-06 at 02:46 AM. |

| Well I will throw my 2 cents in, I beleive we will see a GREAT game today. I think the team that gets a defensive TD will win the game. I do beleive either team can win, but, Pittsburgh won 3 games on the road against GOOD if not great teams and Seattle as we all know won their 2 games @ home and only beat Washington by 10 points. Brunnel could not move and the Seattle "D" atr his lunch, then played a Carolina team that was down to their 3rd string running back and he got KO'ed very early in the game and that made Carolina a ONE-DIMENSIONAL TEAM !!!! They won't get a break with the QB today and they won't be facing a team without any runningbacks one other thing, Seattle will have to do it on the road!!! This line opened up @ Pitt -3 and went off of the key number of 3 to -3.5 and on to -4 ..... some places it has crossed the key number of -4 .... to 4.5!!! Now my take is the books are not going to take a chance and get middled (many books will have to fold if they get middled on this game) on this game therefore, I do beleive pitt will cover the line and maybe win this game by 6 to 10 points!!! BOL and enjoy the game.
