Tonight, we like Vancouver at Edmonton in the NHL to go OVER the 5 goals.
We are keying on two rested teams that are starting to score and getting
key offensive help back
Canucks recently returned hard-shooting defenseman and PP pointman
Sami Salo to lineup and outscored Calgary 6-5 Wednesday. Edmonton
Finally got heart and soul leader Ryan Smyth back. Smyth, arguably
Their offensive leader has been out for a month with a thumb injury..his first
game back he scored a goal in Edmontons's 7-4 loss to L.A. two nights ago
Both teams are coming off of OVERS of 11 goals
Edmonton last foru games..averaging 8 goal totals with opposition
Edmonton average 3 goals a game, but giving up just as much.
Canucks have scored 9 goals over their last two wins and should be
Pumped for division rival, and look out if captain Markus Naslund breaks out.
Oilers goaltending very inconsistent and Canucks starter Roberto Luongo
Has a fairly fat 3.18 goals against avg. in seven career starts vs Edmonton
Buyer beware! Last four meetings have been unders...but the total is
just five...two rested teams..who CAN open it up..We see some great
value in taking Vancouver and Edmonton to go OVER the 5 goal total.
