Penguins Get Crosby!

Before I forget to post... this has me truly happy.

Mario was on TV the other night talking about a line with himself, Recchi and the young phenon Crosby. Not sure if you guys South have caught the buzz but Sidney is something else to watch. He's not a big guy by stature but he's got hands like Wayne & Mario already at his young age. He single handily took Rimouski to the Memorial Cup final this past year as well.

yeah this kid is supposed to be amazing...BUT lets wait and see...Lindros was supposed to be the next big thing too, and while he has been good he hasn't been great...hope the kid pans out for you...my isles got the shaft in the draft

Yeah I noticed the Islanders did worst than expected. Problem with draft lotteries I guess. It best suits the teams that don't make the playoffs.

Pens = no playoffs = #1 pick

October 5th is Mario's 40th birthday and he'll be on the ice that night.

I'm excited.

yeah....hopefully the isles can have a good yr..they have a good nucleus of young talent and some older guys...but dipietro is obviously the key for them in net

Isles are rumoured to be dropping that huge salary of Yashin's...

Could be a bit of a tough year for the Isles. Time will tell

well honestly Yashin was a huge disappointment 2 yrs ago, for that kind of $$ he wasn't worth it. They proved they can win without him so i don't think it would be that big a hit, but time will tell
