Smile tarver vs hopkins rundown

Strengths -

Tarver: southpaw stance, hand speed, punching power, left hand, right hook, heart, chin, and experience against top notch foes.

Hopkins: sneaky right hand, guile, chin, ability in the latter rounds, body punching, boxing ability, and ability against top class opponents.

Weaknesses -

Tarver: Conditioning, leg strength in late rounds, punching power in late rounds, tendency to be over-patient, and tendency to slap with shots.

Hopkins: slow starter, punching power, doesn't fight the whole three minutes of every round, and age.

What each fighter must do to win -

Tarver: Start quick, move to the right (away from Hopkins sneaky right), pressure, punch hard to keep Bernard off and also to gain points.

Hopkins: Try to start quicker, use the right in every round, try to pressure Tarver and set him up for the late round attack.

The Outcome tarver wins either way by a knockout or a decision (ben)

yeah hopkins always starts slow, which in this fight could be a problem, it could be like the taylor fights where he digs too deep a whole to get out of...i dont see him getting knocked out, the drop in weight will take some of the sting out of tarvers punches plus hopkins has a solid chin..should be a good but boring fight
