Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Ernie Els cruised to a 13-shot victory at the BMW Asian Open on Monday to stay put at No. 3 in the latest edition of the Official World Golf Ranking.

World No. 1 Tiger Woods returns to action this week on the PGA Tour at the Wachovia Championship. Second-ranked Vijay Singh is also in the field.

Els remained at No. 3 followed by 2004 Masters winner Phil Mickelson. Two-time U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen was next, while Adam Scott held onto the sixth spot. Chris DiMarco missed a playoff by a single stroke at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on Sunday, but advanced one position to No. 7.

Padraig Harrington dropped one to No. 8 and Sergio Garcia remained at No. 9 followed by David Toms, who rounded out the top 10.

Stewart Cink is up two spots to No. 11. Mike Weir fell one to No. 12, while Luke Donald was down to No. 13. David Love III, Darren Clarke, Kenny Perry, Stuart Appleby, Miguel Angel Jimenez all held their positions from last week.

U.S. Ryder Cup captain Tom Lehman exchanged positions with Scott Verplank to complete the top 20.

Tim Petrovic defeated James Driscoll in a playoff at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans for his first career victory on the PGA Tour and in the process vaulted from No. 120 to No. 67 in the world. Driscoll improved from No. 285 to No. 119.
