Hopkins - Taylor Part 2

hey guys,

I donno much about boxing, but all my friends are jumping on young Taylor to win over this 40 yr old Hopkins guy....I've heard of hopkins numeroud times, but not too familiar with taylor.......any inputs would be greatly appreciated.....

Anyone liking this selection.....?

honestly bro, if i was betting on this id bet on hopkins....he did absoultely nothing the first 7 rounds of the fight, and still almost knocked out taylor and should have outpointed him in the decision....hopkins wants this bad, and has already stated if he wins, itll be his last fight...i dont see him winning by KO, but i think he will be busier than he was in the last fight, and he will win a decision, just my opinion...he is too hungry of a fighter to lose to the same guy twice..if you look at his career the few fighters than beat him, the 2nd time he fought them he won...except roy jones since they nevere ofught a second time

Yeah I think and hope that Philly Hopkins knocks the shit out of Taylor. The guy is feirce and I don't think he will lose twice to Taylor, but who knows. Roy lost twice or 3 times, I forget, to Tarver.

honestly bro, i watched the fight, it was boring as fuck.....neither fighter really did a whole lot...taylor landed a lot of stiff jabs and his punches look harder, hopkins did some good work late, rocked taylor once....but even though he outlanded taylor by i think 6 punches and by a wide margin in power punches, taylors punches look more flashy and get more pts...i thought hopkins won, a close fight, cant argue w the decision it was a close fight, could have gone either way

I watched it too.....

I think the decision was right...it was 115-113 all around...and to me Hopkins did nothing to take the belt away from Taylor.

Taylor is the future, and Hopkins is unfortunatly, and no disrespect the past.

On a side note...Did you see the RKelly and the national anthem?

I almost threw up.
