AI is so overrated....he takes about 10000 shots a game so what he avgs 30 pts....if stephon marbury took as many shots as AI he would avg about 35-37 pts a game since he actually shoots a good percentage...no way AI gets MVP, MVP goes to the guy that makes a huge difference in the team, look at miami where they were last yr compared to this yr, thats why shaq is mvp..

Yeah I agree, Shaq will get MVP, amazing how bad the Lakers are without him and now hes with the Heat and they are the Best in the East. Kobe sure cant handle the load for the Lakers.

If the Sixers had a little more talent, experience and had a better record, Shaq and AI would be a tight one for MVP, no doubt in my mind about that.

The difference between Marbury and Iverson is AI gets doubled and triple teamed and is the main focus for the oppenent. I understand because theres no one else to really worry about on that whole entire team unless you want to count Webber who has been dissappointing so far since he joined the team. I havent watched Marbury too much but when I have he gets far less attention and he defintely has the better talent surrounding him. The whole Sixers team has been jumping on AIs back all season long and for his whole career for that matter. Its amazing he can put up 30 a night, hes getting guarded by 2 guys that are at least 4 to 5 inches taller and maybe more every night. Marbury has a ton less pressure on him.

AI and Marbury are not comparable, Marbury doesnt have to take a team on his shoulders and doesnt get doubled and tripled everygame. Hes not the whole focus, so yeah, he should hit his shots and shoot a good precent. I think Marbury is overrated just because of what he said that hes the best point in the league, LOL, the best points in the league get there team to the playoffs, and make the All Star team

actually correction there, the all star game has nothing to do w the best players, its all a popularity contest these days. marbury gets doubled and tripled too, we might have more talent if houston was playing but he isnt....we have an undersized center, a guy starting at small fwd who you guys threw away, crawford is good but he is still young...bottom line is AI nor marbury has won a championship and i dont see either of them winning one.

AI is definitely a warrior and a great player but, his teams record will hurt him. personally i would vote for Nash. he makes his team go and makes players around him better. i think they will vote for Shaq though....

Welcome Never Enough :D I am rooting for Nash too since AI probably wont get it. I dont think he makes the others better, because you can really say there is 3 all stars on the Suns, but he definetely makes that whole team click and play up to there expectations

Nice, I think he deserves it, he has been tremendous this year for the Suns. It was up to him and Shaq. They give it to the little Canadian Nice :D
