Default AFL back in town !!!

Sup guyz...

The AFL season has just kicked off and I feel that there's huge money to be made from this sport this season. I know a lot of guyz who feel the same way and don't mind sharing their picks with me... therefore, I'll try to do similar and post my plays on here as often as i can...

Best of luck, guyz ~

PS. If you dunno much about it, go to http://www.afl.com.au and browse around... to summarise how the game is played, it's played in an oval with 4 sticks at each end. Kick between the middle two, you get 6 points, and 1 point for the sides. Easy stuff...

Might as well try to keep a record for my AFL here...

my first play just finished... took Bulldogs ML @ 1.82 for 4 units

They won 167-52 !!! (the line was -4.5, btw)

so that's 1-0-0 : +3.28*

for tomorrow, I like the Brisbane Lions +39.5 @ 1.32 (the line is +17.5) ... will probably parlay it with Carlton +39.5 @ 1.50 (the line is +24.5) to increase the value.

Despite Geelong great start during the pre-season, the Lions are very physical... and i can see Geelong scoring around 80-100... which would mean no blow-out... while Carlton are normally a shit team, but always has something up their sleeves in the first few games...

Haven't decide on how many units, but it'll be

Lions +39.5 x Blues +39.5 @ 1.98 : Centrebet

I've taken the Adelaide Crows ML @ 1.62 for 5 units tomorrow... but with the nature of AFL, it won't be a close game, IMO ... Crows to cover the -8.5 easily, but since it's the first game of the season, i might as well play it safe (this is the team that will challenge the title this year against the WCE!)

my selection on the Carlton +39.5 overnight also came in, but i didn't put my money on it, so it won't count... They did ended up beating the Melbourne Demons by 93-72 tho... which is a real upset, since the Demons were tipped by some to be challenging the title this season, and the line was Demons -24.5 !!!

Now i need Adelaide to wrap up the Round 1 ~

Adelaide leading by just a point at the end of Third Quarter... They were up by 13 at HT, but I'm pretty confident they'll hang on to the lead since I doubt there's much energy left in those Collingwood legs...

Bevo, I'm aware of the injuries they're having in the team, but to me, there's no substitute for class... if this team can't win here even with the squad and experience they have, they can pretty much forget the title challenge against the WCE.

FT score : Adelaide won 111-77 ~

As expected, Adelaide shuted out the tired Magpies in the last quarter and won by 34 points ~ with Ricciuto kicking 6 goals...
