| Checking out the list of events for the 2007 World Series of Poker and it looks interesting, to say the least. It seems they are starting with double the chips that they did last year. Here is a small sampling of the major events. This is where the the best poker players in the world will engage one another, and the following events are the events REAL poker players will compete in. World Championship H.O.R.S.E. Limit Hold'em, Omaha 8 or better,Razz,Seven Card Stud,Seven Card Stud 8 or better. The buy in is $50,000. Starting chips are 100,000. In my opinion this is the masters game. If you can play here you can play anywhere. World Championship No-Limit Texas Hold'em. $10,000 buy in. Starting chips 20,000. Last year 8,773 players entered this event. Jamie Gold won $12,000,000.
