Borgata Summer Open Poker Tournament

While the action in Las Vegas is hot and heavy with the 2007 World Series Of Poker, on the East Coast the Borgata had a great 'Summer Open' with a good turnout.
Almost 4,000 players turned out for the eleven events. It all started on June 11,2007 with a $500 buy-in and concluded with the Championship Event on June 23rd.
This year the Championship No-Limit Event drew 337 players who bought in for $5000 each plus the entry fee of $200. Total prize money for this event was $1,685,000.
The Borgata awarded over $3,000,000 in prize money and raked in almost $250,000 in entry fees. This with all the live game action and Satellites gives the Borgata a tremendous start to what looks like another great summer.
