Years ago one if the best minds in the poker industry explained to me how the house makes money. Very simply rake. To explain in simple terms,since I had no clue,he used a 2-4 limit game as an example.Ten players sit at the game and buy in for $100.00 each.The house deals lets say for argument sake, 50 hands an hour,taking $4.00 per hand. In the short span of five hours the players money,every last dime, now belongs to the house. All ten players now leave broke. So if you are in the position to buy a poker room or open an on-line site do so. If not please ,please,have a house game !!!
