| 2 plays for now, All plays at 5 Dimes YTD 45-40 (+6.23*) Parlay A. Costa(-350) D. Jokovic(-185).........................4* This is basically an "anti American" play. Spadea has been awful going 6-14 last 20 on clay and has beaten no one of any class or in the past @ Roland Garros. On the other hand this is where Costa ups his game. He is an outstanding clay courter and has only had 1 exit before the 3rd round in the last 7 years including a title. Jokovic is a solid clay courter and has cruised through the qualies as well as winning a challenger clay court event coming in. His confidence should be sky high and should take out the struggling Ginepri in no more than 4 sets. Parlay S. Ventura(-275) G. Canas(-330)............................4* Looking at the Ventura/Cuccione at first I didnt really like it. After looking at it a little closer, Ventura has beaten some pretty solid clay courters and some of his only loses were to dominating players like Robredo, Stepanek, and Nadal. He has beaten players lile Garcia Lopez and Almagro etc. I put Cuccione at the same class as these players and maybe even lower. Cuccione has been playing well as of late but he has beaten no one! I mean I know alot of challenger players and I have never heard of some of these guys lol. Canas is an upper class clay courter and one of the best grinders on clay. He is the kind of player you have to play your best to win. Last year Canas lost in a grueling 5 set match against the eventual champ Gaudio. Before that in '02 he made it to the quarters beating Moya and Hewitt on the way and eventually losing to the champion Costa in a hard fought 5 setter. Canas has been solid this year on clay losing only 4 and 2 of them were against Nadal. Monfils is a promising up and comer and has had a solid season so far but his best win this year was over Santoro. I dont know what happened but last year it says he lost in the 1st round of qualifying to freaking Kendrix 4 & 2 but played in the Juniors French Open and he won that Im still looking at the womens matches, I will have a few today BOL! |
