he's hurt. Unless he is playign mind games which IS NOT his style he is truly hurt. Multiple injuries actually, byt especially the left knee--tendititis. Juan Carlos should handle him and the longer this goes the worse off for Safin

No American player has gotten past the SECOND round in the last two years at Roland Garros--first time in over 30 yrs!!! What has happened to American mens tennis? Why are they not replenishing their tennis' pool? ANy young guns in the junior's comin up?

I dont know whats going on in American Mens Tennis. Its truely a shame though.

I predicted the death of the Americans in another post. No shocker here.

We'll see them on the green stuff I'm sure with more success.

yeah the americans aren't good on the clay, the only exception was AA and he was hurt. Most of the americans these days are bigger serve guys, like roddick, dent, even fish....they should do better at wimbledon...only young guy im aware of is young and he has a ways to go..

yeah safin is hurt but is gutting it out right now...i liked ferrero but not at the price he was, can't bet on anyone that high against safin as he is always capable
