whichever you choose, i think playing him to win the tourney is better odds.. Federer is around -101 and Nadal is +175.. the championship match will be on Fri instead of sun this yr.. I kinda like Nadal..

gotta go with rafa, he had federer down 2 sets and had match points on him on a hard court, not exactly his best surface....nadal is the best clay court player in the world, I think he wins this match in 4 sets, and will win the open as well.

to be honest, i dont even think it'll be that great of a match...i dont see fed being able to compete w nadal on clay....but i hope ppl keep betting on fed, just puts the odds at better payout on nadal!

I wouldn't rule out Davydenko the way he's playing.

If he succeeds Puerta he'll be dangerous come the final. He'll likely get NO respect either. Just as he did against Coria.

Nadal wins it. The kid is scary on clay. I think he will dominate clay like Fed dominates Grass.

It is true. Federer showed signs of brilliance today but the kid had just about every answer.

Puerta will be smashed on Sunday

Yeah nadal dominated today, Federer was no match for him like I figured. Federer 0 for 2 thus far in the GS, IMO he needs to win Wimbledon, I'm tired of everyone talking about how great he is, but don't the great ones win the GS titles? Where are his this yr? HMM?

naught, gee I dont agree with anything you stated above, lol. I didn't think Nadal 'dominated' Fed, certainly the score or stats dont support that. Bad gambler nailed it on the head--no one in the game plays with so much top spin power as Nadal, and Fed clearly struggled adjusting. Fed should have continued to play a power game as he did in the second set and early 4th set--go for his shots and come to the net, pressure Nadal (YOUR NOT GOING TO BEAT NADAL ON CLAY PLAYING PASSIVELY); but once Nadal would have a great passing shot it seemed Fed would second guess himself. I think Fed has the tools to beat Nadal on clay. ONLY one person could have beaten him at Roland Garros in 2005 and that one person did.

naught Fed IS A GREAT ONE; here are some numbers;

24 yrs old, 4 Grand Salm titles, 28 singles titles (LOL)

last two yrs 140-9!!!!!! ---UNBELIEVABLE 93% winning percantage, that's mutant territory

those numbers would define a career, but he's only 24, lol.

Incidently only Mcenroe's 1984 season can match Fed's 2004 yr, IMHO.

for Wimbledon, only Roddick has a chance,IMHO. He had him on the ropes a yr ago up a set and UP a break in the second then the rains came, mutant gathered himself and won title number two in a row. Leyton is dreaming if he thinks he can win.

to give you some reference Fed has 4 Grand Slam titles at 24. AT the end of their careers here are their total GS titles;
McEnroe- 7
Connors- 8
Borg- 11
Lendl- 8
Sampras-14

Wimbledon next, and the quetion to be answered there is WHO CAN STOP MUTANT FROM WINNING THREE IN A ROW?

Noobdy can take Roger on the grass, he's got every shot and he shows that year after year at this event.

I agree with your assesment as Nadal certainly didn't steamroll Roger. Roger was down a set and yet the points were still at 107 to 107 (at that time in the 4th set). When aggressive Roger can beat anybody, he showed that against Nadal early in the 2nd set. When he's attacking and hitting the ball with his pace he hits balls that not even Rafael can get to. Roger appeared intimidated at times by the young Spainard. You can tell Roger isn't as comfortable on the surface as Nadal is at this point. Even though Roger was groomed on the surface, nobody plays defense as well as Nadal, especially on that slow surface.

Marat was playing sensational at the Aussie and Nadal was playing sensational this week... tough to be running into hot players with as much talent as these guys and still be winning every match.

Odds don't matter, Roger Federer will win wimbledon.
