Default Fri 3/10 Gary Weber Open 3rd round Tennis plays

2 plays for today

Gerry Weber Open

T Haas -150 1.667 over JC Ferrero.................3* or 3/10

I like Haas here as he is the better grass cout player overall. Haas has gotten by Novak and Melzer in the 1st 2 rounds while Ferrero has played some mediocre players Voltchkov and Waske. Even though the hd to hd is 3-0 for Ferrero, they all came on clay. I think Haas has the an advantage on the grass and should come through with a win today.

Schuettler +155 2.550. Canas..........or 3/10

I dont get this line at all. I know rainer has been somewhat poor in the last few season but on the grass has not been one of them. He has been solid on grass and got by Nalbandian and Norman quite easily in the 1st 2 rounds. It seems hes in a nice groove right now. Canas is not the best grass court player even though he has been decent on the surface. I see this match as 50/50 and with these odds I will take Rainer in hopes he keeps on his groove here and takes out Canas.

Me too. 1-1 I didnīt take Haas but Ferero, not Schuetler but Canas. I donīt like Haas though most people here in Germany like him (stylist, not player). And Schuettler? I hate him as he ate my all money when he played the champion match in Olympic 2004 (double). Germany led 2-1, 5-2 and 40-15 at 4th set, Schuettler had 3 fouls and 5-3 and Massu and Golzales win in final 3-2. I donīt understand why Germany team had 2 men, one wore Adidas the other wore Pumas in such match.

Any how, to day I found that Tim Henman was a "English patient", I took Johanson and he brought me 21 units. Not too bad day.

Wow didnt know any of the things you mentioned Ns03. Very interesting. I normally dont like Haas either, but I thought he would win today and Schuettler is just a big dissapointment for like 2 years now
