Default Saturday 02/06: Euro 2008 Qualies...

Here's what I figure:

4/5 stake:

Belarus/Bulgaria OVER 2.5 -118

8 straight 3+ games from Belarus? This game lines up to be a doozer, maybe 4 or 5 before it's over. Weak Eastern European opposition going against each other, gotta love it. Both teams battling for nothing, both reside mid-pack in their brackets. This one lines up to be maybe the highest scoring match of the day.

4/5 stake:

France/Ukraine UNDER 2.5 -200

A bit of a heavy odd for an under but from 2 teams that reside on defense and considering they're both at 12points in their division. Ukraine at 1 and France right now at 3 (Scotland also has 12 ). Last result 1-0 France in 04'. Ukraine has surrendered 2 goals in 2 road games, both to Italy (that game finished under 2.5 as well). This is a great defensive division and the battle for first in Group B will heat up again today. Henry is getting no younger and France is turning more and more towards defensive ball always. I like this one under, it has meaning and it should show. 5 of France's last 6 International matches have been 1-0 results.

Other games that appeal:

Portugal/Belgium UNDER 2.5 -154

Belgium will play air-tight today and Portugal has suspension to their top forward Cristiano Ronaldo, other injuries to Simao. Portugal should not surrender a goal today I figure, maybe clean sheet. I 'really' doubt they can score 3 themselves. Maybe 1-0, 2-0 FT for Portugal here? Maybe if Portugal were at home they could put 3 here but I don't see it.

GL with these, it's important to know who is playing motivated and who isn't in these qualifiers.

Rough day, 1-1 with the -200 coming in. Bulgaria lead 2-0 just after half but couldn't score again. Belarus not scoring was the end of the bet.

Slight - day.

Thanks Tommy, I was gonna say Portugal to win as well but I made an in running bet Porto + Djokovic. I felt the under would be good, Portugal couldn't keep a goal from hitting their nets. Portugal couldn't keep a clean sheet and Belarus couldn't score. That's the story of my Internation Saturday

I'll be back with more as I see it.
