4* Anderlecht -162 over Slavia Prague (Champs Lg Qual.)

This choice is easy for me, you see me bet an under on Slavia/Jihlava earlier this week. Class difference is substantial here in my opinion. Anderlecht have a very strong home streak going as well and they're very tough in Brussels. They still posses a great scorers, Jestrovic for one, you can always find him on the scoresheet for Anderlecht. Champions League side from last year will be motivated to score here at home and get back to the point where they need to be. Their CL campaign didn't go well last year (0-3) but playing top 10 world calibre teams will do that to you. Anderlecht slightly lost the Belgium title to Club Brugge last year. Czech teams are usually very good defensive clubs at home meaning Anderlecht will know they have to represent today in their own backyard. Scoring multiple goals in the Czech Republic isn't an easy task. Anderlecht last games vs Neftchi (0-1 on the road), 5-0 result at home in Brussels. Last game played at home for Anderlecht was the 6th of August, a 6-0 thrashing of top Belgium club La Louviere (they finished top 8 last year in the division and have been an adequate side). Anderlecht are in good form. Last 5 home games show: 6-0 W La Louviere, 5-0 W Neftchi, 2-1 W Mons Bergen (late last season - 04-05), 3-0 W Germinal, 3-2 W Standard Liege (side that finished 3rd last year). Very good home side here is my reason for wager. In the first of 2 home and home I believe Anderlecht do enough to earn a win, maybe even handicap cover (-1)

4* Basel/Werder Bremen Game Total OVER 2.5 -110 (Champs Lg Qual.)

Well, well, 2.5 is attainable here. Last result for Werder was a 5-2 win over German side Bielefeld (6th of August). The Swiss side Basel is a weak defensive side as most all the Swiss teams are but they will pressure defenses with their offense. Quality striker Christian Gimenez is back again with Basel. 7 of last 10 for Basel cover 3 goals. 5 of last 7 overs for Werder. Both teams have more than enough scoring, Klasnic is back now after injury for Bremen and gives them the offensive firepower they need. Both these teams play in offensive leagues and both play offensive pressure style. I like this play so there it is
