Default here's the nonsense Tommy.....

well you asked, lol

got to the gates at about 9:45 am. DIDNT SEE ONE SET COMPLETED!!!--fooking rain now of course, get home and all matches are gogin on, unreal. The stadium court is gorgeous at The Rexall Centre, however, best to see the action at the outside courts as your right next to the players. Action finally started at about 12:30-1:00pm, saw Camerin vs Sromova; I don't have anything good to say about either player. Camerin WAS AWFUL, it was 0-3 then the rains came--a friggen light drizzle that would not go away.

On the practice courts however, players kept going. Fabiola Zuluaga is a SWEETHEART--couldn't hurt fly. Saw her two yrs ago vs Dechy here in Toronto, then I see her again, lol. She was on the court for at least an hour, practising with her coach ( a guy in his 50's who kept talking in Spanish AND NEVER BROKE A SWEAT!!!!! Unreal, very good player). Fabiola has such a pleasent disposition. Strong up the line forehand and good two-handed backhand. After the match, she signed all autographs, spoke to a few fans in Spanish. I yelled VAMOS FABIOLA and she looked and threw out that beautiful smile.

Preceding Fabiola was Orbata and Sugiyama, they practised together. Ai is a midgit. Can't be more than 5'4, no fvking way--BUILT LIKE A TANK!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!! Very powerful, is Ai. Orbata does nothing for me, not impressed at all.

A huge crowd made it's way to another of the practice courts, so I assumed must have been a top 20 player. It was Tatiana Golovin-- this girl KNOWS she is liked. Looks like she has a chip on her shoulders. POWERFULLY bulit yougn lady. A number of fans were screaming, 'go Tati'... nutters, lol......... Saw J Jankovic also practice. That is one scary lookgin face, yikes!!!!! Very fit, very lean (unlike Fabiola who could lose a few pounds), not overly muscular, broad shoulders and ONE MEAN FOREHAND.

Probably the player I was most impressed with was Anabel Medina Garrigues. She has improved her world rankng for 4 consecutive years, and I can see why. The 23 yr old from Valencia has great footwork, crisp, clean groundstrokes. She put on a clinic out there. Seems very focused. Didn't seem to do very well in the volley drills, however.

Garbin and Pascual will have to play TWO matches today for qualies. With this rain delay, they will play late into the evening; if their asked to play tomm, they may be spent.

Finally, the autograph seesion was not organized well. Lineups were insane. First up was Amelie "Strap-on" Mauresmo; that women has NO feminine qualities. I think when she was a kid she used to beat guys up.....

well that's it. Going tomm evening and i better see a BLOODY MATCH!!!!! LOL!!!!!

Good read, I enjoyed it

Didn't like Jankovic eh? I don't mind the one that are a little tubby.. Need some meat on their bones. Myskina is my nightmare.

I get the feeling this is not the only fun you'll have this week with the ladies. Maybe you should bring yourself some bristolboard with a big 'VAMOS' on it. In early rounds it won't be difficult to get yourself on TV. Should be all of 20-25 fans there

Dunno about Fed + Nadal, I'm just hoping my guys Henman/Rochus can get out of the first round.

Thks Lebowski. I was on her not only because of observations from a practise session, but as I stated above due to the rain delays some qualie matches went late into the evening. Safarova was one of them--she played a marathon vs Obata just under 3 hrs last night, ending at aprox 10:00pm!! The Organizers were VERY UNFAIR to her in scheduling today. Of course they want that useless Canadian Pelletier in the evening session, BUT AT THE VERY LEAST, Lucie's match should have been the last of the morning session, not Bartoli's. Anabel wins 4-6,7-5,6-1. Lucie was spent in the third, won only 18 points and 5 df's

Anyway, got out of work late and missed the first few games of the evening session. From a betting standpoint evening sessions are useless--just 2 matches, both on the stadium court. ANyway Golovin vs Sprem;

Sprem will turn her year around--bank that. She is too good a player. I have NO IDEA what has happened to her , maybe someone from Crotia knows? personal problems? Anyway, she is a player to be careful betting agasint and with these inflated lines agasint her one may want to start taking chances betting with her. IMHO, VERY LITTLE separated these two players. The difference in this match was Sprem's lack of patience, a collection of unforced errors and not gettign her first serve in enough (not sure what her % was but it coudn't have been high). Sprem has equal power of Golovin from the baseline and IMHO a STRONGER first serve, the damn women has a bullet of a first serve, but cant get the damn thing in!! Sprem also has a very strong forehand, but goes for too many shots. Golovin? honestly for all the hype she gets, she is over-rated. -400, -500 lines no fvking way would i trust her with that shit. Golovin could also lose a few pounds IMHO............what's hilarious is all these crazy fans. I'm talking about the fans that build shrines to their favorite tennis player and seek 'autographs' (from WTA PLAYERS!!!!). So many people yelling 'Go Tati' No word of a lie, there was a GUY, must have been at least 16 or so sitting a few rows in front of me and after every Golovin game win all you would hear was 'yes Tati' 'Go Tati'-- does this guy have ANY IDEA how gay he sounds?? Anyway, I group all these folks together and call them, 'The Nutters'..........

Vento-Kabchi vs Pelletier---can you imagine CHARGING PEOPLE MONEY to watch these two play? I had way too long a day at work to sit through that nonsense, left when it was 4-0 for the S American. BOTH players STINK.

If anything worth reporting on Wed evening session I will post.

Lebowski VERY nice call and read. Serena is in SERIOUS trouble. Looks out of shape, errors galore. It's sad to see someone with so much talent, waste it. She was awful at Wimbledon and her return to the hardcourts is the same. She is gogin no where in this tournament.

Stephanie may be Canada's young 'hope', but she has a lot of work ahead. She just can't beat a top 100 player, and after tonight still hasnt. Massive amount of errors, did not handle the pressure of playing at Stadium court well, she was awful.

the Italian wins 6-3,6-2

Got to the gates early this time, fookign line-up to get in . Evening gates open at 5:30pm and I immediately went to the grandstand---Dechy vs Vaidisova, got to see the secodn set!! HAD TO SEE NICOLE--and no disappointments, she is the real deal. Tall girl, taller than Dechy!! NOT muscular, beautiful thighs, nice broad shoulders. MASSIVE MASSIVE serve. Strong two-handed backhand. Plays, like many on the WTA players, without much 'thought'; she doesn't try to build a point, she just beats the hell out of the ball. Would have loved to see Conchita play today, she seems to be a dying breed on the women's tour--it's all power, no finesse, no grace. Anyway, i'm impressed with Nicole and she definetely has top 20 written all over her and possibly higher.

then showtime..........7:30pm Stadium, fresh from a long flight from California, stepped on the court-- 'THE ANIMAL'. It's crazy how one's emotions go nutty when you have a wager on the line and your watching the friggen event LIVE; you can't go anywhere, there's no where to hide, you have to watch it or hear it . With a 10-0-3 line Vs the -6 games lines since WImbledon (in her wins) I had to add to the friggen play. Match starts and before I can friggen blink Kim gets broken, breaks back, then gets broken again!!!! Razzano is serving 3-2 30-15 i'm sittin' there thinking what the fook have I done, despair sets in .....then 30 minutes later Kim leads 6-3,4-0 and i'm thinking why didn't I put more on this wager!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kim STEAMROLLED 6-3,6-0 winnng the last 10 games!!!!!! She is 11-0-3 vs the -6 line in HER WINS since WImbledon. UNBELIEVABLE. Kim put a clinic on, Razzano is far from useless but simply no where near Kim's class. Kim like Nicole, just power folks--power,power,power. I wouldn't say she's completely thoughtless out there, like Sharapova, but she's no Graff that's for sure.

Stayed to see Ana Ivanovic in the doubles match that followed (just the first 4 games). WOW-- like Nicole she is very tall, BEAUTIFUL women,very powerful, huge thighs, wonderful ass, FANTASTIC PIECE OF HUMANITY!!!!......she is however, a little on the slow side, seems to get fatigued rather quickly

nt--- CAREFUL BETIING ON KIM. She seemed tired to start that match. She was very accomodating following the match, but you could see she wanted to get out of there---4th tournament in a row here and she has stated that she DIDNT WANT TO PLAY THIS WEEK, see below. I dont know how much she will have left in the tank for the remainder of the week;

Quote:
I'm getting tired. These three weeks in the US have been quite exhausting. And it isn't over yet. I only just arrived in LA and will be off to Toronto next week.

I didn't want to play that tournament, but every year the WTA obliges us to play one specific tournament and this year it will be in Canada for me. I could have done with a week of rest right before the US Open

parlay went down the tubes. What happened to the Japanese girl when she was servign for the match at 6-4,5-4? I dont know, but she then lost the next 9 games!!! Thank God i wasn't there to see that, i think i may have tackled her on the court....
