Wednesday:

5* Stabaek/Moss Game Total UNDER 3.5 -135 (Norway)

Can't understand this high line... Stabaek is 6-1 last 7 with 3.5 spread, 4-1 in last 5 home contests (only loss was 4-2 win over Tippaliagen side Fredrikstad). 8 home goals allowed by Stabaek in 9 games (<1 game). Take Moss... 6-1 last 7 as well. Only >3.5 was against weak side Skied and they scored 5 themselves in that one. Final 5-1. Moss has 2nd best road defense in league one having only surrendered 7 goals in 10 games. Stabaek is first road defense with 5 goals surrendered in 10 games. Norway isn't a good league for playing unders (thus the 3.5 lines) but this game has a lot of appeal for me today. Last result? May5 of 2005, 0-0 FT

A lot on the table today but I'm going to be choosey again, I have to expect this game to go under 3.5 goals so I'm going to pound it.

Yeah Tom, I had some Champions League stuff in mind but Basel/Bremen OVER is always good pick, 2 offensive sides. But now Mladen Petric will miss for Basel (not that this should kill this play), but it does put a dent in it. Total I got was 2.5 last time (2-1 FT Basel) and this time it's 3 without Petric. Just worries me.

Anderlecht will miss key striker Jestrovic today in Prague, this is a tough blow for them.

Everton has injury worries to Marcus Bent and it's not certain he will play.

Ajax were my greatest pick looking to today but they've lost Nicolae Mitea for the next several weeks and if not bad enough they lost Rafael Van Der Vaart to Hamburg in the offseason. Just not enough offense there for me to pick a HCP on them or even a -190 moneyline.

I want to play Champs League but today offers too many problems. I stick with the Norweigan total as 2 of these teams are the stiffest in defense in the entire 1st division. Good game to hit.
