Plenty of soccer playing tonight once again... I've been checking out the matches and their odds, and i must say there're a couple of deliciously looking ones. And since i feel oblige to post my picks earlier, so others can benefit as well.

OK, this time i'll put my analysis on the matches as well :

CELTA VIGO v Racing Santander @ 1.75

I can not stress enough how this odd is so dang good ! Celta is currently second on the table (2 Wins out of 2) and the lastest was against Real Madrid away, while Racing is 19th, with 2 losses. "Bet of the day"

ATHLETIC BILBAO v Malaga @ 1.65
Bilbao is currently 4th, with 1 win 1 draw, while Malaga is last with 2 losses. Bilbao playing at home, there should be no problem for this one as well.

MANCHESTER CITY v Bolton @ 1.90
Bolton has a good strong defense and aerial strategy attack, but other than that, they're harmless. Bolton also played in the mid-week Uefa Cup (win 2-1 against 'no-namer'), so i expect them to be less than 100%.
On the other hand, Man City is on a 14 matches no-loss streak under Pearce's management. With more rest and fully fit team, with Andy Cole & Fowler, i just can't see them not making the break thru, especailly at home.

LIVERPOOL +0.5 v Manchester United @ 1.47
hmmm... i must say this is one of the hardest bets. As you know, I'm a true die-hard Man Utd fan, but i like my money more...

Both teams played in the UCL mid-week, but Liverpool should be the fresher team with more rest. While Man utd is plagued with injuries, Heinze; Neville; Fortune; Brown; Saha. Sir Alex's rotation system will surely suffer. But as both teams are contenders this year, they'll give everything in for this derby match, so +0.5 is safe for me.

LAZIO v Tresviso @ 1.57
Lazio is 8th with 1 win 1 draw, while Tresviso is 19th, with 2 losses. Tresviso goal difference is 0-4, and i can't see them opening their scoring account this week either. Should be another walk in the park for Lazio, esp at home.

Well, 5 very confident bets from me. I hate to bet against my own team, but that's the reality, if they win, i'm happy; if they lose, i'm happy; if they draw, i'm happy as well, i guess... Moral conflict here...

Yeah, i wish Buck and Wild can come in here and show some approval as well... but i'm confident enough that these plays will come thru... at least 4/5 !

nice to see you here SAM, hope you crush the books today w these soccer plays...i wish i could provide you some more thoughts or analysis on your matches but i simply do not know much about soccer outside of the mls....we def need to get some more soccer ppl to the forum so you all can get more opinions on games

I think half the world is betting on Celta and Bilbao tonight... the odds were too good and the sides were in great shapes... I've been jumping around a few other forums, and they all laid money on these two as well... I hope there's no fixer here...

damn it... i knew i should have put more on Liverpool... i got scared in the last minute when putting the money in for LIVERPOOL +0.5 ... ended up only put in 1 unit ($10) ... yeah, didn't know why i even bothered... Grrrrrr.... anyway, Lazio was $$$ and now the other threes are still stalemate... 40 mins to go ~

OUCH ~!!! This really stings... ALL 3 TEAMS LOST !!!

Man City had like 80% posession the whole game and had PLENTY to chances, and then Dunne gave away a soft penalty in the overtime ~

I'm speechless about Celta and Bilbao... i really expected these two were my best bets (had $100 on each)...
