Solskjaer suffers new injury blow


Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed his return to training has been put back because of a fresh injury problem.

The 32-year-old has spent almost all of the last two seasons on the sidelines trying to combat a serious knee injury.

He told MUTV: "There has been a bit of a setback. It was not really anything to do with the old injury, but it will take a few more weeks to recover. "I am hoping to be back in training by 1 November." Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has previously revealed his own doubts over whether Solskjaer would play again.

One of the greatest Norweigan players to ever grace. He may never lace them up again. His age has determined much of this as well I'm sure. United have more than enough to deal with it but it's sad none the less. Always good to have great players play.
