March 29, Tennis Plays

These are the 2 singles I was going to play, some of you have parlay options (I don't with my book), so here's what I feel today:

Parlay: (5 units)

Dominik Hrbaty -250 over Gael Monfils
Taylor Dent -250 over Florian Mayer

Hrbaty the vet here between the two and this is quite a lot of tennis to play for the young Monfils, gotta wonder when he might tire. Tourney after tourney he has been playing. I don't feel he will be tired here but it's something to consider as he plays more tourneys. This is the farthest he has gone in a tourney in his young career and it will probably end here. Dominik is ferocious when he smells the finals of an event. You're just around the corner Dom

Dent just a much better hardfloor player than Mayer and should be a win here. Close or not I expect Dent (who is on another great run) to finish off the young, inexperienced hardcout German. Florian has a quality serve but Taylor does as well. Matchup of 2 great servers, I give the edge on the surface right now to Dent. Going with experience and current form again here.

GL guys, tennis has been iffy this week, hopefully it will get respectable coming down the stretch of this event. The rain has slowed down and hopefully this will speed the courts up a bit. Both Dent and Hrbaty play well in a fast paced enviroment
