| Good job on CL fixtures a few weeks ago lets do it again, good start to this week hopefully: Wednesday: Parlay: (4 units) FC Porto + Real Madrid + Inter Milan (Champions League) Porto off disappointing loss to Rangers will require points here to stay in contention. Benni McCarthy is playing some of his best ball in a long time, scoring in his last game against Beleneses. Porto should be too much here at home. Going with all home sides here. Madrid's 3-0 snubbing to Olympique Lyonais will not sit well with this very deep Spanish side. Luxembourgo will be without Ronaldo and Zidane today but will still field the likes of Robinho, Raul, Beckham and Baptista. Madrid need points here coach says nothing but win will suffice. Inter have 1-0 win but should overpower Rangers from the beginning. Rangers off good home win vs Porto (3-2) but will be in tough here against a side that has added Luis Figo. He isn't likely to start today and neither will the fans for Inter (still suspended from last years flare throwing incident with Dida). Inter should be more focused here and outpower Rangers. 3 good home sides... 3 good power teams vs much weaker sides. LEANS: Lyon @ -140, Fenerbahce @ +104 Lyon meet Rosenborg, this does smell a draw for me. Rosenborg off a very convincing 3-1 win in Greece so I will be a little hesitant here. Even though I believe Lyon has the more solid side. Even after beating Real Madrid they say that 'wasn't their Everest' and focus will be all on Norweigan side today. Lyon will be happy with draw so this does concern me a little. Last match between the 2 at Trondheim was 1-1 in 2002. Home side same year 5-0 Lyon. Better side to the French here but Rosenborg off 6-0 grubbing to Odd Grenland are finally starting to play the ball that all wanted to see played by them. Rosenborg miss key striker Thorstein Helstad here. Norweigan international John Carew will return to Trondheim today, first time since he parted the club. Lyon edge here but safe play on draw maybe wise. Fenerbahce will play shorthanded PSV. We all know of the transfers they made shipping out Mark Van Bommel and Ji Sung Park but they will once against hope for big games from Hesslink and Farfan today. In my opinion Turkey is one of the most hostile places to play football and putting a + on Fenerbahce only shows me that they get little respect here. It will be very hard to PSV to earn points here today, they are barely pulling out domestic wins these days. Fenerbahce will be ready and willing today. I see this as a very good value bet giving + money. I bet on Schalke over PSV and lost 1-0 (Schalke +1/2). I will believe in Fenerbahce in Turkey today given lineups. GL! B

![]() The play on Fenerbahce is against Eindhoven, I no longer have any faith at all in them. We shall see today though. No play on Fenerbahce, just saying if you're dropping on a + odd today with all these close matches, this is the one to do it on. Turkish teams are dangerous at home. Lets not forget United lost handily in Turkey last year. Fenerbahce was still short Anelka at this time as well. B B

| Yes Buck, you're right... my bookie is CRAP !!! And i'm not ashamed to tell the world about this... but I'm in sydney, u c... and this is the most convenient and accessible bookie for me. I'm too young / poor to get a credit card, and my parents won't let me have one, so i'm stuck with this... plus, i hate all the exchange and transfer stuff on the other bookies like 5dimes... Anyway, Porto choked BIG TIME last night... up 2-0 and i thought my money was cruising... and then "BANG"; Real Madrid 1-1 (until the 86th min) and Porto 2-3 down. Good call on Fenebahce, i didn't have the balls to pull the trigger on that one, but did win something from Lyon and Chelsea/Liv matches... Looking forward to the Uefa Cup tonight and the weekends~ |

| Yeah Porto ruins the parlay but everything else there wins And yeah, 2-0, at home. Artmedia didn't have a road goal until yesterday. B

| InSpades, It would be too obvious for a CL match to be fixed, too much TV and news coverage from all over the world... and in this one it would be much more because Artmedia didn't have a road goal to date and they should be happy enough by being in the group stage. So coming back from a 2-goal deficit, on the road, against a good defensive team, even tho looks fishy, it would be too risky for everybody involved. Lets just call it what it was: A CHOKE by Porto.
