3* Rafael Nadal (-300) Over Mariano Puerta - 2/25 9:00 PM

Nadal continues his torrid streak on clay here in Acapulco. He won last week's clay tourney and this week he's been in fine form as well. Last night Nadal faced his stifest test in which he managed to get by Guillermo Canas pretty handily. Puerta has been a sensation here early on in the clay season. He's a pure clay player and he's managed to upset some players this season. But Puerta has had the difficulty of having poor scheduled play as his Moya match went past midnight and he had to endure a tough 3 set match versus Mantilla yesterday. All in all Nadal is clearly the better player in this matchup and he should advance.

2003: Nadal won 6-2, 6-4
2003: Puerta won 6-3, 6-7, 6-4
