| UK wheelchair tennis player has been banned for two years after testing positive for cocaine. Traces of the drug were found in a sample provided by 25-year-old Jamie Burdekin, from Merseyside, at the British Open last year. The Bootle player contended that his drink must have been spiked during a night out in Liverpool. Mr Burdekin is considering an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland to get his ban lifted. The suspension will rule him out of competitive play until after 22 August next year. Couldnt resist posting this one.. LOL my drink was spiked , my drink was spike LOL |
