| Right, it's time to nail some winners: In Auckland: Rochus to beat Nieminen - $1.90 Love this play - not only does the little terrier hold a superior H2h record over the Finn, he has the game to frustrate the shot maker by chasing down everything ensuring Nieminen will have to play an extra shot. Rochus' form this tournament is no fluke, the man was a finalist in Auckland last year and further seems to excel at the beginning of the season, as seen by his strong performances in the Aus Open 2005. In Sydney: Davydenko to beat Blake - $2.10 Another interesting matchup here - I have watched all of Blake's matches so far in Sydney and to be honest he has been far from impressive, especially his latest match against Clement where he came from a set down to win in 3. He had problems with the return of serve and ultimately it came down to Clement making some UE's on crucial times for J-Block to break. I don't see Davydenko being as generous as his game is based on error free tennis, he will grind out rallies all day and force Blake to make the running and if that happens, I see some errors coming from the Blake racquet. Davydenko has been unassuming as he has moved through the draw, a routine win against Berdych and then was gifted a W/O over Srichiphan. For me, a fresher and more consistent Davydenko to win. I might head down to Homebush to watch this personally. good luck with everyone's bets today, lets make some cash Last edited by bad gambler : 01-12-06 at 09:19 AM. |
