Had some great results ytd with Ljubo x Karlovic x GGL ... and also took Montanes ML over Ventura @ 1.80 ... did lost some on Gimeno and Wawrinka, but a profitable day it was... Rolling on with today : FRIEDL to beat Aguilar @ 2.15 (CB) - Vina del Mar (3 Units) Friedl is better known for his doubles' skills. Went as high as 6th in the world in 2003 and now sitting at 20th partner with Cermak. Altho he plays very little in ATP singles, but he's very experienced. On his way through the qualidying, he beated the 3rd seed and 5th seed here as well, which proves he's in great form. Against Aguilar, first time in ATP tournament (Wildcard), beated another no-namer in the first round. He's only 20, been struggling in the Futures and Challengers tournaments, but he's a Clay-specialist like most South-Americans. Can be dangerous as he has nothing to play for, but i think the nerve should get to him and should not win against the more experienced Friedl. PASHANSKI to beat Di Mauro @ 1.65 - Vina del Mar (9 Units) A bit surprised to see Boris dropped a set against Saretta last round, but i guess it was probably because he's just won the Santiago Challenger tournament last week. Had 2 days rest and now should be charged up confidence, enough to beat Di Mauro tonight. Pashanski is lying 65th in the world. Played extremely well in the second half of last year, reached 10 Finals in Challenger tournaments, won 6 of them, all on Clay. Against Di Mauro (122th), he reached SF the tournament Boris won last week. Did get some good results early last year, but went downhill afterwards. Another Clay-courter, but too unreliable for me. Despite him winning the only time these two met in 2003 in straight sets, it means nothing since it was 3 years ago. Oh well, that should do me for the day. I'm hoping to break the jinx that SCI tennis thread seems to be having lately... So wish me luck... ![]() Good luck to everyone too !!!

Adding : a unit on CILIC to beat Seppi @ 3.20 Heard that the crowd are crazy behind this guy. He's a junior star of the country at the moment. Dunno how well Seppi will handle it, worth a shot. 3 Units on Youzhny to beat Jarkko @ 2.20 Got some tips that Jarkko not hitting well this week. Yooz loves this surface and should be able to keep up... value is with Yooz ![]()

Pound da shiet out of Myskina to beat Likhovtseva... (12 units @ 1.50) Shitting my pants when she lost the first set and got broken early in the final set, she got back and won it 6-3 in the last set !!! WOOHOOO !!! But 14 breaks in 26 games is just too much to bare... will not be playing too much on WTA anymore...

I like Henman to beat Seppi @ 1.40 and Karlovic to beat Koubek @ 1.37 tonight. They both have been kind to me this week and play a hell lot better than last year. Seppi did beat an 'injured' Hewitt in the AO, but i'm not convinced. Henman back to form this year, took out by Tursunov in 5 sets in AO (fatigue), but played pretty well. Took out Gasquet last round which should boost his confidence. While Karlovic only knows how to serve, which is exactly what he did last round against Ancic, 7-6, 7-6 !!! Koubek got some great results here this week, but should be overpowered by the Giant. Can't see him stoping those huge serves. My play tonight : Henman x Karlovic @ 1.91 Last edited by $@M : 02-03-06 at 05:55 AM.
