Friday:

5* James Blake -215 over Nicolas Lapentti (Houston)

Not too high a price to pay for me, Lapentti has been very average. 4-10 last year and 2-2 so far this year on the surface. James Blake's game is coming around and he's threatening in a lot of matches now. He manhandled Antony Dupuis in the last round 6-4, 6-1. Lapentti's game has been more solid on the hardcourt of late and even that has been bad. Blake isn't the strongest clay player but his form is good and he's playing at home court. I just don't see Nicolas winning here. His game is in a tailspin, he has suffered defeats on clay this year: 6-1, 6-2 to Zabaleta, 6-0, 6-2 to Puerta. His record on clay has staggard last 4 years or so. Blake is rounding into form.
