Getting used to clay 18-04-2005

After five days of resting, I quietly started training on clay. Right now, I stick to about one hour and a half a day and some additional running. Again, it proves to be quite something to adapt to.

Clay is a lot more stressful on the whole and for my wrist more specifically. Especially if there is some wind around. I'll stick to this schedule until the Warzaw tournament and over there I'll limit myself to playing matches and resting as much as possible.

I'll be going to Poland at the end of this week and I am quite curious about it as I have never played there before. I have heard some positive notes though. The field of contenders is pretty strong as well: Mauresmo, Kuznetsova and Justine. Yesterday, I've seen a part of her final at the Charleston tournament and she was playing very well: on clay she remains difficult to beat .

Last weekend, I have been to a basketball match at Ostend, where Bree was playing well. And they won! I really like basket. Ever since I watched the Lakers two years ago during the Masters, I'm hooked on the NBA. And especially charmed by the Sixters and Allen Iverson ;-)

I try to follow the results by Bree as good as possible, even when I'm abroad. Actually, I try to catch up on as much as sports as possible. In the past few weeks cycling in particular: Tom Boonen's achievements were astonishing!

On Friday, I'll be doing a new photoshoot for Hampton Bays and I'm really looking forward to it. Not that I would like to do this on a daily basis, but once and a while it is big fun. You'll be able to see the pictures here pretty soon for sure!
