| Wednesday: 4* Thun -155 over FC Zurich (Switzerland) Maybe the best team in all of Switzerland right now are Thun, showing 30:7 as the home side this year on goals for/against. Their last home showings go: 4-0, 5-0, 2-1, 3-0. The 3-0 being a win over 1st place Basel. I enjoy betting on 2 clubs in Switzerland. Thun at home and Basel anywhere ![]() Thun are by far 2nd best with 52 goals scored this season, 30 of them at home. Basel saw a BIG comeback win vs this same Zurich team 3-2. Thun is a stiff defensive side and their 23 conceeded goals makes them the 1st ranked defense (first place Basel team has given 39). Zurich take 70% of home games and lose 15%, figures I can live with. Current form shows them taking this game possible 2-1. They haven't scored a win over Zurich in their last 3 games. 5 home clean sheets. Trailing 1st place now by 6 points again. 5* Chelsea -185 over Liverpool (Champions League) This has got to be very solid, there's no other way around it. Chelsea shows the deepest team in all of Europe and are playing a team with their stars either banged up, ineligible or out of form. Milan Baros will play this week but has been bothered by a knee injury that he suffered last week vs Crystal Palace (a game that Liverpool lost). They haven't been successful on the road this season and have lost a total of 10 games in the premiership this year. Fernando Morientes, their big January signing from Real Madrid won't feature here as he's ineligible and Djrbil Cisse will definitely see time and he's nowhere near game fit. This is tough playing a Chelsea team that is about to take the English title and are very strong candidates to win the UEFA title. Just too much here. Chelsea has beaten Liverpool all 3 times this season and I see no reason why they will slow down here in the most important match of all. Chelsea has home field advantage and this will be huge for them. Liverpool did a great job last game vs Juventus is no conceeding but they will surrender goals here and scoring them won't be as easy. Chelsea will meet Milan in the finals, Liverpool are a mere stepping stone now. Large stake. GL! B
