Our selection is on Nashville SC to defeat Atlanta United on Saturday at 8:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Nashville bounced back last weekend with a 5-1 win after losing in the game before hand.

It's 3rd in the Eastern Conference and have won 10 of 14 games at home this season (lost just one.)

Nashville wants to win this one badly after drawing the first matchup between these teams in May.

Atlanta is in second last in the East, and has allowed 49 goals in 27 games this year.

It hasn't won a game all season on the road -- lost eight of 13 games.

Our selection is on the Cincinnati Reds to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday at 6:40pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

St. Louis will start Michael McGreevy -- allowed two homers in his last start, now back-to-back games of four runs allowed (seven earned runs total.)

The Cardinals are just 17-28 on the road this season against opponents within the National League.

If we go deeper, they are 5-12 on the road against opponents within the NL Central division.

Cincinnati will start Andrew Abbott -- got rocked in his last start but has much better statistics between the two starting pitchers tonight.

The Reds are fighting badly for a playoff spot, and have to keep winning these games if they want to have a chance.

We think they will today. The play is on Cincinnati.

Our selection is on the Alabama Crimson Tide to defeat the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday at 3:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Alabama wants to get off to a good start this season after missing the playoffs last year.

The Crimson Tide are on the road, but have won 23 season opening games in a row (18-5 versus the spread.)

They are also expected to be one of the best teams in all of College Football this year, while FSU is still in a rebuild.

Florida State should be a lot better, with a new QB that should be able to control the offense.

But, the Seminoles will not be able to find a rhythm and settle into this game. It will get ugly fast if it doesn't come to play.

We're on Alabama by two touchdowns or more.

Our selection is on the Massachusetts Minutemen to defeat the Temple Owls on Saturday at 3:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Temple lost a lot of it's defensive players last year meaning another rebuild of the defense.

The Owls have lost 21 road games (straight up) in a row over the L4 years.

They might be improved a little bit, but have little chance of having success in the AAC this season after 3-9 last year.

Massachusetts wasn't any better -- winning just two games last season.

But, the Minutemen were 2-1 against the spread as home underdogs and 7-5 overall last season.

We like UMASS in week one. The play is on them.

Our selection is on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors @ Arizona Wildcats game to finish OVER the total on Saturday at 10:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Hawaii's offense looked really solid, all things considering, against Stanford in the first game -- led by a freshman QB.

The Rainbow Warriors have a harder test this week, but definitely should be able to score some points at the very least.

Alejado can turn things that don't look like anything into something with his dual threat ability.

Arizona's defense was improved a bit last season, but still allowed an average of more than 30 points a game.

The Wildcats lose their best wide receiver, but definitely will be able to score points against non-conference opponents early in the season.

Noah Fifita is back and he can really sling it, like he showed flashes of last year and all throughout 2023.
