Our selection is on the Philadelphia Phillies to defeat the Kansas City Royals on Saturday at 6:05pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Kansas City will start Ryan Bergert -- began his career in SD, and hasn't been the same since he came to KC. Allowed eight runs in his last start against Cleveland.

The Royals are out of the playoffs if the season ended today and are 5.0 games back of a spot with limited time remaining.

They have lost four of their L5 games.

Philadelphia will start Taijuan Walker -- doesn't have amazing statistics this year but has been really good in his last couple of home starts.

The Phillies are really good at home, with a 49-23 record this season.

Our selection is on the Florida Gators to cover the spread against the LSU Tigers on Saturday at 7:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Florida lost last weekend against South Florida but there's a lot on the line this weekend.

The Gators were projected at the start of this season to contend to make the 12-team playoff by a lot of people.

They are still a really good team and definitely have the skill to match up with LSU here.

Louisiana State didn't make things look easy last weekend against LA TECH, winning by just 16 points.

The Tigers might take the now 'unranked' Gators less seriously than normal.

Our selection is on the Arkansas Razorbacks to cover the spread against the Mississippi Rebels on Saturday at 7:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Arkansas' first test will be this weekend and we think that it's ready for it.

We believe that the Razorbacks have a real edge at QB in this game -- Taylen Green is one of our early darkhorses for the Heisman.

The Razorbacks have eclipsed 50 points in both the first two games, with Green already having 11 total touchdowns.

Mississippi barely escaped out of the Kentucky game last week and have had to travel back and forth so far.

The Rebels are at home today, but Simmons has definitely not been as good as Dart was last year through two weeks.

Our selection is on North Texas Mean Green to defeat the Washington State Cougars on Saturday at 3:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Washington State lost it's QB in the transfer portal and it's not the same without him (John Mateer went to Oklahoma.)

The Cougars beat Idaho by just three points in week one, and were horrible on 3rd down last week against San Diego State.

North Texas is also 2-0 and survived Western Michigan last week.

That test was needed for the Mean Green who have definitely shown more offensive promise than WAZZU.

They haven't turned the ball yet either this season, that's critical in College Football.

Our selection is on the South Florida Bulls to cover the spread against the Miami Florida Hurricane on Saturday at 4:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

South Florida is again getting disrespected this week with the spread that Vegas has put out.

The Bulls have been underdogs in both the first two games and have upset their opponents. Two ranked opponents at that.

They are on the road, but have a really good QB and a really good defense this season.

Miami Florida's played just one good opponent so far -- Notre Dame.

The Hurricanes have Florida on deck and this is going to be a tougher game than they think.

They are just 4-6 against the spread over their L10 games as a favorite from -15 to -20.

Our selection is on the SMU Mustangs to defeat the Missouri State Bears on Saturday at 3:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the most important ones:

Southern Methodist lost in double OT last weekend to Baylor but is still supposed to be a top team in the ACC this season.

SMU was ranked #17 in the country before that game and will definitely bounce back.

The Mustangs went to the playoffs last season. They score a lot of points, leading to lots of blowouts against weak teams.

Missouri State lost to USC by 60 points in the first game of the season.

The Bears did beat Marshall on the road in their last game. But, they've still allowed 93 points in the first two games.
