The Indiana Hoosiers and the Oregon Ducks are both 5-0 overall. Oregon has the more impressive win, by taking down Penn State. Dante Moore has thrown for 1,210 passing yards with 14 touchdowns and one interception. Oregon has a one-two punch in the backfield. Dierre Hill Jr. has rushed for 270 yards while Jayden Limar has added 232 yards. The Ducks’ offense is putting up 46.6 points per game. Indiana is led by Fernando Mendoza under center. Mendoza has thrown for 1,208 yards with 16 touchdowns and one interception. Roman Hemby is rushing for 351 yards. Kaelon Black has added 344 rushing yards. Indiana is putting up 47.8 points per game.
Both teams have been unstoppable on offense so far this season. I think the offenses will shine in this back and forth game. I am looking for this game to go over the number.
Play on the OVER. This is a 3% play.
The Navy Midshipmen go on the road to take on the Temple Owls. The Navy is 5-0 this season and is coming off a tough three-point win over Air Force. The Temple Owls are 3-2 and snapped a two-game losing streak last weekend. The Navy’s offense is putting up 37.4 points per game, while its defense is giving up 19.6 points per game. Blake Horvath has passed for 500 yards with three touchdowns. Alex Tecza leads the rushing attack with 376 yards and four touchdowns. Eli Heidenreich has added 232 yards and three touchdowns on the ground to go with 170 yards and one touchdown receiving. Temple is putting up 30.2 points per game, but they scored just 13.5 points per game in their two losses. On the defensive side, they are giving up 25 points per game, but 43.5 points per game in their losses. Evan Simon has thrown for 624 passing yards with 10 touchdowns. Jay Jay Ducker has rushed for 315 yards and two touchdowns. The Navy is by far the better team. I see Navy dominating this game both offensively and defensively. It is weird to say this, but I look for Navy to control the ball through the air and on the ground.
Play on the over. This is a 3% play.
The Alabama Crimson Tide and Missouri Tigers meet Saturday in college football action at Memorial Stadium. The Crimson Tide looked bad and unprepared in their opener to Florida State in an ugly loss. With four wins in a row and impressive wins over Georgia and Vanderbilt in back-to-back weeks, things are looking better in Tuscaloosa. Ty Simpson could be the best quarterback in the country, as he has thrown for 1,478 yards, to go with 13 touchdowns and 1 interception. Germie Bernard and Ryan Williams have combined for 728 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns. As a team, the Crimson Tide rushes for 126.8 yards a game. Jam Miller leads the attack with 182 yards and 1 touchdown. On the defensive side, they are giving up 16 points and 285.8 yards per game.
The Missouri Tigers come into this game unbeaten and have won eight in a row, going back to last year. Beau Pribula has thrown for 1,203 yards, with 9 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. Marquis Johnson and Kevin Coleman Jr. have combined for 661 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. The Missouri Tigers average 292 yards a game on the ground. Ahmad Hardy leads the team with 730 yards and 9 touchdowns. On the defensive side, they are giving up 14.6 points and 203.8 yards per game.
Missouri has been playing well on both sides of the ball. They are also coming off a bye week, so they have had extra rest and time to prepare. Missouri is undefeated, but they have not faced a tough schedule so far. Alabama is strong defensively, and its passing attack has been one of the best in the country. This is just the seventh time since 2007 that Alabama is a favorite of 3 or fewer points. Alabama has Tennessee next, but they won’t look ahead against a Missouri team with something to prove,
Play on, Alabama. This is a 4% play.
