5-Unit Play: Take #625 New York +4.5 over Atlanta (2 p.m., Sunday, October 4, ABC)
The Liberty enter this matchup riding back-to-back wins over Minnesota, the best team in the regular season. After eliminating the Lynx, New York now faces an Atlanta team that I consider a step down in competition.
All three regular-season meetings were blowouts, with Atlanta taking two of the three. However, the Liberty won in Atlanta, and they're playing much better basketball heading into this matchup. They also come in rested after their impressive finish against Minnesota.
I expect a competitive game that comes down to the final possessions, making the points valuable with a confident New York team. Take the Liberty with the points.
4-Unit Play UEFA Nations League Take Greece +0.5 (+105) over Germany (2:45 p.m. EST, Sunday October 4) (Graded after regulation time - 90min - plus injury time - need at least a draw here)
Greece have looked like one of the best sides in this tourney and they are going for the hardware. Germany haven't been playing with a full strength squad and they look entirely uninterested. Greece already won against Germany in their road match and at home they should play well enough for a point here.

8-Unit Play: Take #926 Milwaukee -135 over San Diego (4 p.m., Sunday, October 2, FS1) MLB PLAYOFF GAME OF THE YEAR
The Brewers showed some rust on Saturday but still found a way to grind out a victory. I expect Milwaukee to build on that win and take a 2-0 lead in this series.
Logan Henderson gets the ball after a strong season, finishing 11-3 with a 2.47 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP. I expect a big outing from him in front of the home crowd. San Diego counters with Michael King, who pitched well against the Cubs in the Wild Card round but struggled leading into that start. I look for Milwaukee to break through against him as this game progresses.
The bullpens should play an important role, and Milwaukee’s relief staff can match San Diego’s. Home-field advantage gives the Brewers the edge in what could be another tight game. Milwaukee has shown it can win in a variety of ways, and I don’t expect the Padres to collect another nine hits in this one. Take Milwaukee.
2 Unit Play. Take #272 San Francisco 49ers over Denver Broncos (4:25 p.m., Sunday, October 4, CBS)
I’m backing San Francisco at home against a Denver team that has struggled with slow starts. Falling behind early could prove costly against the 49ers, especially with Brock Purdy coming off a four-touchdown performance against Arizona last week.
San Francisco is also 5-0 against the spread in games immediately following an ATS loss. Denver benefited from some fortunate calls in last week’s win over Los Angeles, and I don’t expect those breaks to carry over on the road. Look for the 49ers to take control and get the job done at home.
