The Phillies are coming off a loss in which they struck out 15 times and their closer, Duran, blew his first save of the season. The Phillies offense is coming together and the bottom of the lineup has been much better in getting on base and turning the lineup over. The Phillies have seen the OVER go 56-37-1 for 60% winning bets and 58-36 for 62% winners that a run was scored in the first inning when the used four or fewer pitchers in their previous game, this game is the last game of the series, and they are priced as a road favorite up to –135 using the money line since 2011.
The Phillies offense will be facing the ancient Max Scherzer, who is off to a horrid start this season posting an ERA above 9 runs. He is not the Scherzer of previous years sadly and is not likely to complete five innings of work tonight.

I do like the Phillies in this one tonight. Consider betting 2.5-Units on their team total OVER, and 3-Units on the OVER full game and instead of the first inning (NERF) bet, play Over first five innings for 1.5 units.
