The Angle(s): The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondback combined for nine runs in their season premiere, and I think we'll see at least as many runs here in Game 2. The Dodgers consistently rank among the best offenses in baseball vs left-handed pitching, and Eduardo Rodríguez has a history of getting hit hard by the Dodgers lineup. Meanwhile, Arizona’s lineup has enough pop to capitalize if Tyler Glasnow comes out cold.

4% Yankees/Giants MLB TOP PLAY of the Day
The Angle(s): The San Francisco Giants are still looking for their first run of the season, and here they'll face Will Warren who held them to two runs on two hits with six strikeouts over five innings last year. The Giants counter with Tyler Mahle who started 2025 very strong before missing a big chunk of the season with a shoulder injury. Mahle could very well start this season strong as well, but I don't think he'll get enough run support in this game.
The Bet: YANKEES (4%).
MLB BOOKIE BREAKER
The Atlanta Braves opened the season with a 6-0 win, and here in Game 2 they’ll face Michael Wacha, who is 1-4 with a 4.42 ERA in nine career outings (seven starts) against Atlanta. The Braves counter with Reynaldo Lopez, who made only one start in 2025 after undergoing right shoulder surgery. Lopez had a breakout 2024 season (8-5, 1.99 ERA), and I think he’ll return closer to that 2024 version of himself.
The Bet: BRAVES (3%).
4% Purdue/Arizona CBB TOP PLAY of the Day
The Angle(s): The Arizona Wildcats play at one of the quickest tempos among the remaining teams in the tournament, consistently creating elevated possession counts that put totals in this range under pressure. While Arizona is elite defensively, the Purdue Boilermakers bring one of the most efficient offenses in the country and have already shown in this tournament they can generate points in bunches, including a triple-digit scoring performance earlier in the run.
