NC State and Texas meet in the First Four and we’re on Nc State. The Longhorns limp in as they totally bottomed out down the stretch, losing 3 in a row and 5 of their last 6. That’s been the story all year for them and they have been a struggle defensively. They give up nearly 77 ppg and it’s got a lot worse here over the last few weeks. They’re vulnerable to transition play and Nc State is going to push the tempo on them. Expect the Wolfpack to try and run as much as they can early, wearing down Texas as this game goes on. Back the Wolfpack.

Nashville and Winnipeg meet and we’re on the Preds. Winnipeg continues to be a roller coaster all season as they’ve gone up and down in terms of wins and losses. They just haven’t found much consistency and offensively they have struggled. They are averaging 2.83 gpg and have not generated a lot of shots per game. They’re having issues holding the zone and this is a tough spot for them against a Nashville team that plays very physical. At plus money, this is a great value spot. Back the Predators.

Cleveland and Milwaukee meet and we’re on the over. This is going to be an extremely fast paced game where both teams are going to push the tempo. Cleveland is off a loss to Dallas and they’re going to come out with a purpose against this Bucks defense that has had a lot of issues. Cleveland averages nearly 120 ppg and when they’re on, they’re able to score in flurries. Milwaukee is off a 134 point performance against Indiana and finally has some momentum to build off. This is going to be a lot of transition play and for shooting lanes to become open as this game gets deeper. Back the over.
