The NHL Comp play is on Carolina at 8 eastern. The Canes are a bit pricey here but they do apply to two nice systems. First we are looking at Round 3 or later home favorites with 8 or more days rest as these teams are perfect since 2007 and then we looked at Playoff home favorites that are the 1 seed and have home favored loss revenge in round 2 or later, Also perfect since 2004. Montreal is off a grueling 7 game series with Buffalo and cashed nice for us on the road in game 7. However the Canes have a big rest advantage and triple revenge from this season. The winning team in this series has covered 15 of 16. Rob notes that playoff home favorites specifically 1 seeds are a perfect 7-0 to the spread since 2000 off a home favored loss at -3 or more if the total is 200 or more and they shot 40% or less in that last loss. The NHL Totals System is on the Under in the Las Vegas at Colorado game. Rotation numbers 61/62 at 10:00 eastern. Rob notes that home favorite in game 1 of a series off a home win vs an opponent like Vegas that are off a road dog win and our home team has home loss revenge. These games have stayed under every time since 2007 and the average goals scored is 3.5. These two played a tight game here with Vegas winning 3-2 in over time the last time these two met. Both teams have extended rest here with 5 and 6 days off and road dogs off a road dog win with 5+ days rest are 5-0 under in game 1 of a series vs an opponent with 5+ days rest.. We will back the under at 6 or higher.
