Snell will go 5/6 innings, give up a run, maybe. Strike out a couple cats and call it a night. 5-6-7-8 runs their last 4 games. Dodgers beat Gallen 8-1 already this year. Taking the PADRES. This is me just fading the Twins off their road trip. And why wouldn't I? 8-7-10-8-7-7-8 runs allowed in their last 7 games. They did pull out a 7-5 and 9-7 win in 2 of those. Cortes has been decent in his return to the mound for Padres. Twins trade deadline fire-sale would catch up to them. 3-7 last 10. 7-2-1 to the over last 10 with bad pitching. Padres still fighting. Taking the BREWERS. Can we get a little Cy Young lover for Peralta? I mean. Maybe people have already been talking about him. Guy has been so reliable the last few years. Good for him. Great job Brewers with their pitcher development. Look. You know I am big BA Against/ WHIP guy. Solid numbers for our guy .195/1.20. ERA a bit high with the road split, a couple 5 inning 3/4 run games bump that up. I'm not worried here though. Bieber looked excellent in his return from IL going 6 innings and striking out 9. Blue Jays still in a playoff race here trying to hold off Boston and the Yanks. I didn't think Bieber would go 6 last game - but, Miami, He was cruising. Milwaukee a bit tougher team, and just lost 2 straight at home to Arizona after taking the first two. So a little angry bunch hitting the road. Sometimes good to get away from home. Jays have been hitting the ball pretty well lately. I think their weak spot is their bullpen, while Milwaukee again, churns out really strong bullpen arms. Going UNDER the total. A pair of New HCs. Anything has to be an improvement for Kennesaw who had the worse offense in the land last year. Shockingly, they have most experienced defense in the country! And Wake. Their new HC comes from Washington State. they were 8-1 at one point. The QB + OC went to Oklahoma. The HC is here, alone. Who made that 8-1 happen? The OC + QB or the HC? Guess we will find out as he brings in QB Robby Ashford (Oregon, Auburn, South Carolina) to lead the way. Taking BAYLOR here. What the heck with this line. Auburn, 5-7 last year. Hugh Freeze says - yeah. I am gonna use all 3 of my QBs tonight. He can't be serious. 3 QBs means you have none. Has to be to get Baylor to gameplan a little for the other guys. And Baylor. Is this just SEC bias getting 2.5 at home. You won 8 games last year after a slow start. 18 starters back. Top 10 in returning production. Yeah - Freeze is on the hot seat, but Aranda seat still has to be warm, especially if he drops this one. As I said. Big 12 8 win team a home dog vs SEC team that hasn't had a winning record since the Covid 2020 season. Just crazy SEC bias. Taking GEORGIA TECH. Look. I have buried Colorado the last 2 years. I think Coach Prime can recruit like a champ. Not sure that the OC/DCs are the best in the biz though. How is he going to do coaching a QB not his son? On a lighter note. I love Deon. Loved him as a player. Guy was great. Glad he got past that cancer scare. But, that is time away from the team. He can bring in names for sure. Byron Leftwich. Mike Zimmer. Marshall Faulk. Will it translate to these kids? Tech is favored here for a reason. Bottom line is Colorado lost the Heisman Winner who played WR/DB and an NFL QB. Salter (Liberty guy) is nice, but still a downgrade in my eyes. 4* Money Maker GEORGIA TECH
