Jack's Free Pick Friday: Golden State Warriors ML -120

I love the spot for the Golden State Warriors tonight.  This will be their first chance at revenge on the Minnesota Timberwolves after getting knocked out of the playoffs by them last season.  Steph Curry got hurt in a Game 1 win, and the Warriors never recovered losing the next four games.

Curry makes his much-anticipated return to the lineup tonight after Golden State had the last four days off.  The Warriors discovered Pat Spencer's ability for winning basketball in helping lead the Warriors to a 99-94 win as 9.5-point dogs at Cleveland and a 123-91 win at Chicago in the final two games before this break.

Now the Warriors have had time to practice together and get more dialed in for a return to action, implementing Curry back in with Spencer, Butler and company.  Curry is excited about the opportunity to be able to play off the ball more with Spencer's playmaking ability moving forward.  It should make them much more dynamic and tougher to defend.

The Timberwolves are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall and coming off a 108-105 upset home loss to the Suns as 8-point favorites.  The Suns were without Devin Booker for that contest as well.  They are without Mike Conley, and Antony Edwards popped up on the injury report as questionable for this one with a foot injury.  I expect him to go, but I like the Warriors either way in this revenge spot.  Bet the Warriors on the Money Line Friday.

For my best free pick on the board in the NBA for Friday I am looking at the Utah Jazz at the Memphis Grizzlies. I know that Memphis most likely will have their superstar Morant back on the court for this one. So what I think will still take him time to get up to game speed.
